Thank you for using our Products and Services. Altfuture is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. 

This Privacy Policy outlines its goals, how to consent to data processing, notices under relevant regulation, basis and purpose of data processing, data retention, your rights regarding collected data, data we collect and how we update Privacy Policy.

3. Policy goals 

This Privacy Policy aims to explain what data Altfuture collects from you and how we use it. 

In this Policy we will endeavor to help you understand how the data we may collect from you will be used, what your rights towards data collection are and how you are able to exercise your rights.

4. Acceptance of the Policy

This Policy applies to our Products and Services, and can be viewed on Altfuture website (https://www.altfuture.gg/). Some of the Products and Services may also present you with a referral to this Policy, or this Policy is linked as a part of their End User License Agreement (EULA). Please take your time to read through the text of the Policy carefully.

By using our Products and Services you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you object to this Policy, please stop using the Products and Services.

Notwithstanding previously mentioned, if any of our Products and Services need active acceptance of this Privacy Policy, You will be informed and will have an option to accept it. In this case, You will also be asked to re-confirm your acceptance in case of Privacy Policy changes.

In every other case, you will be able to identify any changes to the Privacy Policy according to art. 13. of this Privacy Policy.

5. Notices and rights under all relevant regulations

Altfuture recognizes the need for data privacy and strives to comply with all relevant legal provisions regarding data privacy.

In particular, Altfuture strives to stay firmly in line with the GDPR.

Notwithstanding above, Altfuture strives to comply with all relevant local data protection regulations in cases where local regulations apply.

Altfuture implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to keep the data we collect from you secure.

6. Basis for data processing

Altfuture ensures that collection and processing of your personal data is carried out in a lawful way.

The legal bases for this data processing are:

6.1. Consent

Data processing may be done on the basis of consent, i.e. the data subject (You) has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

6.2. Agreement

Data processing may be done on the basis of an agreement, i.e. processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which the data subject (You) is party to, or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into an agreement.

6.3. Legal obligation

Data processing may be done on the basis of a legal obligation, i.e. processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject;

6.4. Vital interest

Data processing may be done on the basis of vital interest, i.e. when it is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the You or of another natural person;

6.5. Necessity of performing a public interest task or role

Data processing may be done on the basis of necessity of performing a public interest task or role, i.e. in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Controller;

6.6. Legitimate interest

Data processing may be done on the basis of legitimate interest, i.e. processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.

Altfuture strives to collect and process all data on the basis of informed consent (as defined in art. 6.1.)

7. Purpose of data processing

Altfuture uses the information described in this Privacy Policy internally, to:

• analyze and troubleshoot technical problems; 

• develop and improve our Products and Services; 

• important notices regarding Products and Services, 

• analyze user trends; 

• measure advertisement performance; 

• contact Users who left their contact information in accordance with art. 8 (Bug reporting).
  
  

Altfuture may (or may in the future) host one or more forums or blogs. 

If you use these forums and blogs please note that any information you provide in doing so is public and available to be read, collected, and used by other users who access them as well.

8. Data Altfuture may collect

Altfuture strives to minimize the data collected from the user of its Products and Services. As such, Altfuture as a rule does not process any personal data.

As an exception, in case of Bug Reporting, data Altfuture collects is:

• Information on user system (hardware and operating system);

• User game data, saves, bug report screenshots, session logs, etc; and

• User email, username, and/or other online contact information.
  
  

For the purpose of clarification, the User will have an option to fill in user email, username, and/or other online contact information by themselves.

Leaving the information from the previous paragraph is strictly optional, and is used for the purpose of Bug Reporting.

Providing such information in the process of Bug Reporting is an optional step, i.e. providing such information is not necessary for the Bug Reporting process.

Products and Services access or availability is in no way conditioned by providing said information.

Altfuture will in no case assume such information on behalf of the User.

If any personal information is being processed in this way, it is being done so on the basis of informed consent.

8.1. Specific cases

There may be situations where Altfuture collects information other than what was previously outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

These cases will be especially communicated with the persons involved and they will be given full awareness of the scope of data processing.

These cases may include such examples as, e.g. closed beta testing services and translation services.

Here Altfuture will conclude a separate agreement with persons providing listed services, and they will be notified about their rights in a separate document.

8.2. Data we may have access to

In the scope of providing Products and Services, Altfuture may, through our partners or third-party service providers, have access to and use (e.g.):

• demographic information;

• browser and device information;

• device name and ID;

• session information; and

• any other information available through third-party service providers

For the purpose of clarity, some of Altfuture’s Products and Services use:

• Unity (product of Unity Technologies as stated on https://unity.com/) 

• Google Analytics (a service of Google Inc. as stated on https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/)

which may collect and process data we may have access to in the scope of providing Products and Services.

8.3. Links and widgets to third-party websites:

Our Products and Services may contain links and widgets to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Altfuture. 

Altfuture has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. 

You further acknowledge and agree that Altfuture shall not be responsible or liable, directly, or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services. 

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

9. Data retention

We retain your data as long as needed to provide you with the Service. Altfuture will periodically review collected data and will delete data that is no longer necessary.

10. Your rights

Altfuture strives to allow as much control over your data as is possible. 

In line with that, We stand at your disposal with regards to You exercising Your rights with any and all advice or assistance you may have.

Your rights include:

• The right to be informed;

• The right of access;

• The right to rectification (right to correct incorrect or incomplete data);

• The right to erasure (right to request deletion of data related to You);

• The right to restrict processing (right to request that your Data not be used or not deleted during the processing of the request);

• The right to data portability (right to obtain your personal data from a data Controller in a format that makes it easier to reuse your information in another context, and to transmit this data to another data Controller of your choosing without hindrance);

• The right to object (right to, at any time, withdraw your consent or object to  receiving information such as advertising, newsletters and similar).

11. Policy regarding children 

Altfuture does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

If You are under 18 years of age, or otherwise considered to be underage in your country of residence, you should read this Privacy Policy with the help of your parent or guardian. 

If You are a parent or guardian whose children / wards are using our Products and Services, we strongly recommend that you monitor your child’s / ward’s gaming activities and that you familiarize yourself with the offered parental control options that may be available.

Altfuture does not accept any responsibility for any activity that minors might take part in without permission of their parent or guardian.

12. Cookies

Altfuture does not use Cookies.

Exceptionally, it may happen that some of the third-party services we use employ Cookies. In order to inform our Users about all relevant facts, this part of the Policy Policy refers to information about Cookies.

12.1. Definition of Cookies

Cookies are small units of data that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive, and which are generally required to use the site.

Cookies do not record any personal data of the user and no identifiable data is ever stored. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can set your Internet browser to delete all cookies from your computer's hard drive, block all cookies, or warn you before a cookie is stored.

12.2. Types of Cookies

Cookies of this category are required to be able to use different parts of the websites and certain functions. Without the necessary cookies, you will not be able to use the online services provided on the website. Consequently, if you reject the use of a given category of cookies, you will not be able to use different parts of the websites or certain functions.

(hereinafter “Google”), that uses cookies consisting of text files placed on your computer that help analyze trends in how users use the website. The information about your use of the websites (including your IP address) stored in cookies is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA. By accepting the Privacy Policy, you consent to such storage. Google does not associate your IP address with any other data stored by Google. In addition, you can prevent the collection and use of data by Google (cookies and IP addresses) by downloading and installing a browser plug-in from the page: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

Functionality cookies are used to remember your preferences (such as your preferred language, country or other online settings) and collect anonymous information.

• • Cookies for targeting or advertising

Third-party advertisers, advertising networks, providers of data exchange systems, analytical marketing systems and other services may store independent cookies on your device for targeted advertising. Independent cookies for targeted advertising collect information about the pages you visit on different websites and online services in order to show you relevant advertising notices on third-party websites and online services. Ad networks may transmit such information to advertisers through their networks. The information obtained through the use of such independent advertising cookies does not contain personally identifiable information, but is used to identify users on different websites. We may use third-party advertising services.

12.3. How to manage cookies on a personal computer

Internet browsers have the option of allowing or disallowing Cookies. If you want to set your browser to one of the options related to Cookies, follow the instructions for that specific browser.

13. Changes

Altfuture endeavours to stay up-to-date and compliant towards all responsibilities regarding your data and privacy.

To that end, Altfuture will periodically update this Privacy Policy and will always make the latest version available in our Products and Services.

The summary of changes made can be tracked in art. 1.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review this Privacy policy periodically to inform yourself about the changes.
